ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Tess Rosen (she/her), and I'm a scenic designer and props artisan! I'm a senior at Oklahoma City University, about to obtain my BFA Design and Production degree with an emphasis of Scenic and Properties Design. No matter the project, I endeavor to bring empathy, whimsy, and an unique artistic vision into the conversation.

Born and raised in Colorado, I have been immersed in art and performance since I was young. My background is very visual arts-based, which greatly influences my process, but I have a great love for all things immersive, wacky, and creative. When I'm not living in the theatre, I love to draw, play dungeons and dragons, explore museums, take photos, and pet on my dog, Archie.

Some recent exciting happenings:
-
I won the USITT25 Poster Design Contest
-
I received Certificates of Merit for Excellence in Scenic Design and Projection Design for my work on Legacy of Light
-
I started scenic designing OCU and OKShakes' upcoming production of The Importance of Being Earnest

My goal for the future is to continue to grow my skills as a scenic designer and props supervisor in an innovative, exciting, and inventive environment.

I'd love to get in touch!
